Averaging method for initial and boundary value problems of set-valued differential equations

In this talk, we study averaging methods for initial and boundary value problems of two types of set-valued differential equations. By introducing the concepts of the Hausdorff metric and the semi-deviation metric, and by utilizing the corresponding properties of the support functions along with the analysis of measurable selections, we discuss two cases: when the averaging limit of the right-hand side function of the equations exists and when it does not exist. The asymptotic relationships between the solutions of the original equations and those of their averaged equations are established.

王培光，河北大学数学与信息科学学院教授，博士生导师，河北大学坤舆学者。
长期从事微分方程的定性与稳定性理论、控制系统理论及其应用等领域科学研究。主持国家自然科学基金、澳大利亚CHESI 计划项目、科技部重点项目、教育部重点科研项目、河北省自然科学基金重点项目等20余项课题。在J. Differ. Equ.、Appl. Math. Lett.、数学学报、应用数学学报等国内外学术刊物上发表论文170余篇。曾担任Mathematical Reviews，zbMATH评论员，Inter J Diff. Eqs.等多种国际期刊编委。研究成果获全国优秀百篇博士论文提名奖，第六届全国高等院校霍英东青年教师奖，第六届全国高等院校优秀教学成果二等奖，河北省自然科学二等奖，河北省自然科学三等奖，河北省科技进步二等奖等10余项省部级奖励。
