Efficient Structure-Preserving Algorithms for Hamiltonian Systems by Extrapolation

Most of practical structure-preserving schemes are implicit and are of low accuracy. If one wants to accelerate the convergence order, it often suffers from difficulties in code. For this reason, this talk is devoting to improving the convergence order of numerical solution practically and easily by combining the extrapolating method with structure-preserving schemes. Some extrapolating structure-preserving schemes are constructed for nonlinear Schrödinger equations based on the well-known second order multisymplectic Preissman scheme. Some numerical experiments are reported to support the advantages of extrapolating structure-preserving schemes.

主讲人介绍:

孔令华,江西师范大学教授,博士生导师,江西省百千万人才,江西省青年科学家培养对象,江西省高校学科带头人。主要研究偏微分方程的保结构算法,特别是在哈密尔顿系统高效辛和多辛格式的构造方面取得了一些研究成果,并获江西省自然科学三等奖。主持包括面上项目在内的国家自然科学基金4项,包括重点项目在内的江西省自然科学基金7项。发表SCI收录论文四十余篇。
